Health & Safety Inspections

As a lift owner or someone responsible for a lift, by law you are required to comply with LOLER (The Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment Regulations 1998). You are required to make sure that all your equipment is safe to use. As professional lift engineers we are deemed to be suitably qualified to help you meet these requirements.

We maintain computerised systems, historical records and an online database facility. These help you to comply with current regulations and ensure that your lifts are working to their maximum potential. At ILS Crown we will ensure that you are kept up to date on:

• Changes to legislation
• Lift engineering standards
• Codes of practice
• Other recommendations

Part of our service would be to carry out supplementary tests on a periodic basis as recommended by SAFed.  

During our inspections, we will advise you of our findings and provide you with recommendations. At times you might be required to make changes or improvements to your equipment. If this should be necessary, we will inform you immediately. We will also provide you with competitively priced quotations for any work to be undertaken.
